Our Community Involvement

At the Veterinary Center for Birds & Exotics, we take pride in our community. Our doctors attend Career Day at local schools and speak with middle and high school students about a career in the veterinary field. We also attend the local Reptile Expo, teaching new owners about proper reptile care and answering any questions they may have.  Every year we take part in Birds of Prey Day and educate the public on raptors native to our area, with the help of Green Chimneys Nature Center.

We work with local pet stores and rescues to provide top notch exotic pet care so these animals can go to their forever homes healthy.

Our staff does a lot of work with wildlife; taking in any wild animal that needs veterinary care. Our doctors and licensed technicians treat the animal(s) until they are ready to be released to one of the many licensed wildlife rehabilitators we work closely with. We never charge to care for injured wildlife in our community!
